Our voice teacher Izabela Adams recently travelled to Los Angeles for a weeklong, Speech Level Singing bootcamp held in the Hollywood home of SLS creator, Seth Riggs. Riggs, who has worked with over 150 Grammy Award winners, worked intensely with a dedicated group of 24 certified Speech Level Singing instructors from all over the world, sharing the core principles of his technique to those who teach his method in accordance with his legendary principles of success. Izabela had this to say about the experience: “This was truly an opportunity of a lifetime, to be able to learn from the master in such an intimate setting”, “I learned in the same room where Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, and Bette Midler took lessons”! Mr. Riggs chose this personal style of instruction to share his vast knowledge of the human voice in order to get closer to his certified instructors. Izabela has immensely increased her singing knowledge and abilities as an SLS instructor, while earning the respect of Mr. Riggs as a colleague.
